The Empty Bowls club at Lasell University, which makes art to fight hunger in the community, will host the 7th annual Empty Bowls event on Friday, March 22, 5PM-7PM at Lasell’s de Witt Hall (80 Maple Street, Auburndale). Over 300 handmade ceramic bowls will be for sale. Dinner will be served along with live music from ‘Not Bad, Pretty Good’ and speakers from the community. The event will have a raffle with amazing prizes, as well as a silent auction table with detailed ceramic pieces. All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Centre Street Food Pantry in Newton.

Tickets are $15 (students $5), available at the door or online.

Empty Bowls is a grassroots effort to fight hunger in the community by making art. Every week, the club meets and creates handmade bowls, which are sold to benefit the Centre Street Food Pantry.
