School Committee will meet virtually (Zoom link) in Executive Session on Monday, December 18 at 3PM to discuss negotiation and mediation strategy with respect to collective bargaining with the Newton Teachers Association Units A,B,C,D, and E (see Meeting Notice).
The Negotiation Subcommittee of the Newton School Committee will meet virtually (Zoom link) in Executive Session on Monday, December 18 at 4PM (see Meeting Notice) to:
- Discuss negotiation and mediation strategy with respect to collective bargaining with the Newton Teachers Association Units A, B, C, D, and E
- Conduct collective bargaining session with the mediator and NTA, Units A-E as an open session may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the public body and the chair so declares.
