Newton Singers is a community chorus for people of all ages, sponsored by Newton Community Pride with repertoire of jazz, show tunes, madrigals, folk songs, and much more. Open rehearsals are on Tuesdays, 7PM-8:30PM at the Elevation Chapel (150 Lowell Avenue, Newtonville).
New members are invited to drop in or email newton_singers@yahoo.com. No audition is necessary, as long as you can carry a tune! Membership is not limited to Newton residents. Open to all! Details here.
Membership dues are to be determined, based on chorus size, to help pay for the rehearsal space, sheet music, conductor, and an accompanist. The fee should not prevent anyone from joining, so contact the chorus (confidentiality assured) if it’s a problem.
