The Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts (July 21-22) will start an evening early with a kickoff fundraising event at Baramor (45 Union Street, Newton Centre), July 19, 6PM-8PM. It will feature live music, specialty cocktails, craft beer “charity draw” that supports Newton Community Pride, and raffle drawings from local businesses. Admission is free, and registration is suggested in case it gets over capacity.
