The Newton Cemetery & Arboretum will host a Springtime Tree Tour through the winding roads of its grounds on May 19 starting at 10AM. Led by its staff arborists, the tour will showcase over 30 species of flowering trees, shrubs, and perennials. Come to enjoy flowers and learn about the Arboretum’s diversity, native plantings, species selection, and tree planting program.
The tour will take place rain or shine. Bring comfortable walking shoes, water, and plenty of questions. Parking is available along cemetery roads or in the chapel parking lot.
Suggested donation: $10. Space is limited, so please be sure to register.
