Village Days are coming up… (Waban this Sunday!)

Waban Village Day: May 21, 10AM-2PM at Woodward and Beacon Streets. Family Fun Run at 10AM, followed by rides and amusements for kids of all ages, vendor tables, music, food, and ice cream. Starting at 11AM, entertainment starts with young musicians from Suzuki School of Newton, followed by Annie and the Fur Trappers.

Nonantum Neighborhood Association Village Day: June 4, 11:30AM-3PM at Coletti-Magni Park, Watertown Street between Adams and Chapel Streets. All the fun is free: trackless train, face painting, puppet show, boxing exhibition, Studio Two Beatles tribute band. Plus food trucks (at cost): The Don BBQ, DePasquale Sausages & Uncle Joey’s Cannoli.

Highlands Village Day: June 11, 11AM-4PM on Lincoln Street between Walnut and Bowdoin. Thanks to sponsors, all kids’ activities — including bounce houses, caricatures, and face painting — are free. Delicious food and live music.

Auburndale Village Day: August [TBD], on Auburn Street. Sidewalk sale, music, kids’ activities.

Newtonville Village Day: September 24, Noon-4PM on Walnut Street between Austin and Otis Streets. Family, fun, food, music, and art featuring local talent and businesses in over 75 booths. Games, crafts, and train rides for kids. Local musicians and student performers on two stages.

Upper Falls Village Day: October [TBD], 11AM-2PM, at Upper Falls Greenway (1225 Chestnut Street). Arts, crafts, vendor booths, food, music.
