The School Committee will meet in person (Room 210 – Ed Center – SC members and staff only) and virtually (Zoom link) on Monday, December 5 at 5:30PM. The School Committee will initially meet in open session and then vote to enter into Executive Session to discuss the deployment of security personnel or devices or strategies with respect there. The Negotiations sub-committee of the Newton School Committee will meet in-person in Room 304 and vote to enter into an Executive Session on Thursday, December 8 at 3:15PM (see Meeting Notice) in order to:
- Conduct a collective bargaining session with the Newton Teachers Association (NTA), Units A-E, and
- Discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining with the NTA
