The Newton Art Association continues Art Works for Good, its annual fundraising for worthy causes, with a fundraiser this year for Facing Cancer Together (FCT), which provides care to cancer survivors and their families who cannot afford access to essential support services. Through January 14, NAA member artists selling any of 142 works of art — paintings, drawings, sculptures, and photographs — will donate half the sales price to FCT. Depending solely on donations, Facing Cancer Together is a free-standing, non-hospital-based cancer support organization in Massachusetts providing free, online psychological support in addition to personal services. Angela Epshtein, Executive Director of Facing Cancer Together, said, “Art is a beautiful solace within the cancer care community. FCT is grateful and honored to be the recipient of this year’s NAA fundraiser.”
