The day before Thanksgiving, The Rotary Club of Newton (motto: “Service Above Self”) delivered over 100 freshly baked pies to Newton Police Headquarters, every Newton Fire Department station, and families associated with the West Suburban YMCA and the Newton Boys and Girls Club. The pies were provided by Marie Presti, owner of The Presti Group realtors and long-time Rotarian, as part of the “Pie In The Sky” program of Community Servings, a non-profit food and nutrition program providing services to individuals living with critical and chronic illnesses.
