Mark Development, LLC will share its plans for a proposed redevelopment of 1314 Washington Street — the former Santander Bank site — at a virtual neighborhood meeting (Zoom link) on Thursday, September 8 at 7:00PM (meeting notice). The meeting was arranged with Ward 3 Councilors Kelley, Wright, and Malakie.
The Mark Development plans call for the construction of a five-story rear addition containing 50 residential units on the south side of the existing bank building and the conversion of the existing bank space into a 225-seat restaurant and lobby area, with a total of 69 parking stalls in two separate parking facilities — one at surface level, the other below-grade. Mark Development presented this set of plans at the July 19 Land Use Committee meeting (NewTV recording here), and the Planning Department issued this memo regarding the project (see complete set of special permit documents here).
