New Art Center and Newton Community Pride will celebrate Black art on February 12, noon to 4PM, at the New Art Center Classroom at Trio (245 Walnut Street). This free Community Cultural Day will celebrates Black History Month with art-making, snacks, and the opening of an exhibition created by New Art’s Martin Luther King vacation program students in collaboration with artist Jamaal Eversley.
