The Programs and Services Committee will take up 4 noise-related items (see Agenda): recommendations for discussion and possible amendments to strengthen the ordinance and its administration including those related to construction and landscaping activity; two leaf blower related ordinances – one to strengthen the ordinance and one to receive a report on the implementation of the registration and enforcement amendments previously passed; and a discussion on current compliance and possible amendments – particularly with regard to certain times of days and Sundays and holidays. The Chair sent this memo to help prepare for the discussion.
