Chestnut Hill Historic District Commission will meet virtually (Zoom link) on Thursday, January 19 at 7PM. The agenda includes the following:

  • Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to change the stone veneer for a pool terrace structure at 152 Suffolk Road.
  • Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to install a wrought iron handrail on the front stairs leading up from the sidewalk for safety at 342 Beacon Street.
  • Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to make changes at the back of the house: change the first-story windows, build a one-story rear addition, install shutters on the second floor, replace dormer clapboard, and add balustrade to the three-season porch. Also install a vent on the side of the house at 29 Acacia Avenue.
  • Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to install a wrought iron railing at the front entry at 137 Suffolk Road.
  • Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to relocate an existing driveway at 206 and 210 Chestnut Hill Road.
