Temple Shalom of Newton: Something for everyone at Shabbat Together, Jan. 6

At Temple Shalom (175 Temple Street), Shabbat B’Yachad begins Friday, January 6 at 5:30PM for a Tots Service followed by a family pizza dinner. At 6:30PM, there’s an adult service with an Oneg at the end. Teens enjoy dinner and activities at 7:30PM as adults join a Rabbi-led discussion and dinner.

The Shabbat B’Yachad is held the first Friday night of every month through June. Members and guests, come and choose what part of the evening is most interesting for you. There’s a charge for meals so please register here.

The evening’s focus is social justice so attendees are asked to help the temple with food justice by bringing donations for the Newton Freedge pantry (diapers, feminine products, rice, beans, pasta, flour, cooking oil, and shelf-stable milk). A free clothing swap, infant-7 years, will be held, too. Leave clothes or take some. Anything left after Friday evening will be donated.
