The Newton Free Library offers these tween/teen events this week for Grades 5-12:
- Thursday, December 29, 6:30PM-8PM: Anime Movie: Tokyo Godfathers (2003) — experience an anime classic, Tokyo Godfathers (2003). Japanese snacks and refreshments will be provided. Rated PG-13.
- Friday, December 30, 3PM-4:30PM: Shadow Box Collage — cutting, pasting, and creating three-dimensional collages for expressing yourself and displaying your favorite anime, your favorite furry friend, etc. Registration required. Space is filled but there’s a wait list.
