Emily O’Neill is stepping down after almost seven years as Executive Director of The New Art Center. For the remainder of the fiscal year, the nonprofit will be co-led by Jan Tayloras Co-Director, Development, Marketing & Board Management and Holly Johnson as Co-Director, Operations & Programs. “Emily’s energy, dedication, and enthusiasm have brought significant value to our organization, and her leadership has been transformative,” said Dr. Robin Hicks, President of New Art Center’s Board of Governors. “She led New Art through one of the most challenging periods in its history and positioned the organization for a vibrant and sustainable future. We are profoundly grateful for her vision, dedication, and years of service. Emily’s influence will no doubt continue to shape the New Art Center’s future for many years to come.”

Samuel Ash, MD, MPH, has been appointed Vice President of Information Technology & Innovation and Chief Information Officer at South Shore Health. He had been serving as Interim Vice President of IT Operations while continuing in his role as Chief Medical Informatics Officer. In this expanded role, he will oversee all facets of the organization’s Information Systems Division and will lead initiatives aimed at strengthening and integrating digital platforms across South Shore Health to enhance the experience of patients, providers, and colleagues. He will also maintain his clinical practice in the Critical Care Unit, ensuring that technology and innovation remain closely aligned with frontline patient care.

Audrey Awad, a 2nd grader at Angier Elementary, will appear in Annie, presented by the Wheelock Family Theatre at Boston University November 21 through December 22. She plays an Orphan and is understudy for the role of Molly, with guaranteed performance on Saturday, December 13 at 7:30PM.
