The Boston Civic Symphony once again joins forces with the Boston Latin School Concert Choir for their annual Family Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 14 at 3PM, at the Boston Latin School Auditorium.
Led by Music Director Francisco Noya, this festive celebration has become a beloved tradition for performers and audiences of all ages. Maestro Noya’s program features George Chadwick’s Jubilee (from Symphony Sketches), Russell Peck’s The Thrill of the Orchestra, Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, and more.
The Boston Latin School Concert Choir, under the direction of Ryan Snyder, will join the orchestra for several works, including the first movement of Vivaldi’s Gloria, John Rutter’s The Very Best Time of Year, and “When You Believe,” the Oscar-winning song from The Prince of Egypt. The choir will also perform the spiritual Keep Your Lamps and Yonder Come Day.
Together, the orchestra and choir will lead the audience in a holiday sing-along, and the concert will conclude with a joint performance of Silent Night.
