Warm and brighten your holiday season this year with the Highland Glee Club Men’s Chorus‘s Holiday Angelsong on Saturday, December 6 at 3PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (1132 Highland Ave, Needham).
Holiday Angelsong is a program of some of the most beautiful music ever written for the holidays – Palestrina, Franck, Schubert, Praetorius, Mendelssohn, Rubinstein, and our own composer extraordinaire, Dan Wulf!
Led by Music Director Sarah Robinson Seeber, with three angelic soloists: star tenor Connor Vigeant sings the Pavarotti favorite “Panis Angelicus”; knockout 2023 HGC Music Award winner violinist Eleanor Markey plays J. S. Bach; fresh-voiced mezzo soprano Jessica Erving sings Schubert and Rubinstein; and the men of HGC bring their signature burnished sound to a variety of gorgeous classical carols, with angels as the theme. Accompanied by our very own angel-in-residence, Jonathan Reddix.
Complimentary reception full of holiday cheer! Reasonably priced at $20 in advance ($25 at the door), with children attending free of charge. Plenty of free, easy parking. What’s not to love?! Get your tickets today!
