Newton South High School’s South Stage will present Shakespeare’s Hamlet at 7:30PM on November 20, 21, and 22 in the NSHS Seasholes Auditorium. This is an intimate retelling of the classic tale of betrayal, revenge, and power. Set against a contemporary backdrop, South Stage’s Hamlet makes Shakespeare’s words and characters more immediate than ever. Overcome with grief, vowed to revenge, and divided from the outside world, Hamlet struggles with questions of morality, mortality, and what happens when we let the voices inside our head take over.
