West Newton Cinema will host A Turtle Celebration (author talk and screening) on November 15, 11AM-1PM at the Cinema (1296 Washington Street, West Newton).
Famed naturalist Sy Montgomery, author of The True and Lucky Life of a Turtle , and E. B. Bartels, author of Good Grief, together for a talk and book signing to benefit the Turtle Survival Alliance.
- 11AM-11:30AM: Turtle meet & greet; mingle in the lobby to browse books & turtle merch & bid on the silent auction items
- 11:30AM-12:30PM: Authors talk books & turtles, followed by a Q&A, in the theater
- 12:30PM-1:30PM: A screening of The Slowest Stampede on Earth (20 minutes, in the theater) abd a book signing (in the lobby)
Tickets are $15.
