On Sunday, December 7, from 2-6 PM, Boston-based nonprofit Ukraine Forward is holding an exhibition and sale of Ukrainian fine arts and handicrafts at the New Art Center (61 Washington Park, Newton). Artwork includes paintings and graphic art as well as ceramic, wood, and textile objects by artisans in Ukraine and the diaspora. All proceeds from the sale will go towards the purchase of battlefield robot rescuers and evacuation vehicles for Ukraine’s frontline defenders.
Since 2022 Ukraine Forward has shipped $2.5 million in humanitarian and medical aid directly to frontline troops, hospitals, and communities in Ukraine.
