I am an NPS parent of three/ I will be voting for Cyrus, Ward 4 counselor-at-large. My oldest, a senior was at home with some friends when Cyrus came to visit, and I had the privilege of seeing him genuinely interested in hearing about the concerns impacting young people. I was surprised that he seemed to already be aware of many of the obstacles and issues in the schools and yet wanted to hear more from their perspective, too. I was most impressed at how quickly he understood each child’s point, and gradually my younger kids trickled in to talk to him as well. Cyrus is receptive, and he really cares about our community. He will bring the changes to Newton that we need!
