Kelley et al.: City Councilors for Cyrus and Josh, Ward 4

As current Newton City Councilors, we are supporting and voting for two candidates for the Ward 4 At-large seats: Cyrus Dahmubed and Josh Krintzman.

With Cyrus, we are thrilled to anticipate the fresh approach and professional architecture and urban planning experience he will bring. He’s a listener and collaborator. No one recruited him, he’s not beholden to anyone but ran on his own to serve our community. He is not part of any slate, pact, PAC, deal, or block but is a smart, hard-working young man and Newton native who will add so much to the City Council.

Josh Krintzman, a colleague for eight years, brings balanced, insightful and legal expertise to his role.  For nearly six years, he has chaired the Programs and Services Committee, guiding even the most difficult and controversial issues with fairness and respect. Josh ensures every voice is heard, listens carefully constituents, and takes the time to explain all sides of an issue clearly and thoughtfully. He will continue to be a strong leader and a valuable partner with Cyrus.

We urge all of Newton voters to vote for both Cyrus and Josh on or before Nov. 4.

Enthusiastically submitted by City Councilors

Ward 1 Maria Greenberg, Alison Leary
Ward 2 Susan Albright
Ward 3 Andrea Kelley
Ward 5 Andreae Downs
Ward 6 Vicki Danberg, Martha Bixby
Ward 7 Becky Grossman
Ward 8 Rick Lipof
