We are supporting the candidacy of Julie Irish for Newton Ward 5 Ward Councilor. Julie is currently the president of the Upper Falls Area Council, Board Member of the Upper Falls Community Development Corporation (CDC), Countryside School PTO Co-President, Co-Chair of Newton Upper Falls Village Day, Coach of Newton Girls Soccer, Co-chair of NewtonServes. Board Member of the Upper Falls Nursery School, Volunteer at Greenway Arts–Beyond Boundaries, and member of the Executive Committee, Newton Council on Aging. Julie is a dedicated and energetic volunteer who follows through on her commitments. If elected, she will be a tireless advocate for the residents of her districts, Waban, Newton Highlands, and Newton Upper Falls, as well as for all citizens off Newton.
