Lobron: Mali Brodt (Ward 6) for School Committee

I strongly support Mali Brodt (Ward 6) for School Committee.

Mali Brodt was a middle school history teacher for 16 years. She is now a School Adjustment Counselor in Reading Public Schools. The fact that Mali has a long history working in public schools is the number one reason that I am supporting her. Anyone can look at data and read policies, but only someone who has worked in schools has the first-hand experience to understand how those policies play out in real life. Experience working in public schools is an area of expertise that is currently lacking on Newton’s School Committee.

I’ve had the opportunity to spend time with Mali over the past few months. She is an intelligent, thoughtful person who has demonstrated great integrity throughout her campaign. Mali focuses on the importance of genuine relationships between all stakeholders in NPS. She is dedicated to restoring trust that has been broken over the past few years in Newton.

I hope you will join me in voting for Mali for School Committee!

Sincerely,
Alison Lobron
West Newton
