Newton’s 5th annual Ceremonial Celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day will be held on Monday, October 13 from 11AM to 5PM — NOT at Albemarle Field but at NEWTON NORTH HIGH SCHOOL (due to expected inclement weather).
Dedicated this year to the drum — the heartbeat of Indigenous Nations and Mother Earth — this Celebration is a free, outdoor, family-friendly, Indigenous-led, and volunteer-run event that celebrates and uplifts Indigenous peoples in the Northeast and beyond.
There will be live music, traditional dancing, delicious food, art demonstrations, Indigenous-owned businesses, activities for youth, and so much more!
