Second Church in Newton, UCC (60 Highland Street, West Newton) will host a symposium– Engaging Christian Nationalism — on October 10-12 with this schedule:
Friday, October 10: Doors open at 6:30PM. At 7PM, the documentary film, Armor of Light, followed by Q&A with Rev. Dr. Rob Schenck, who is featured in the film.
Saturday, October 11: Doors open at 8:30AM. 9AM-4PM:
- Welcome by Rev. Corey J. Sanderson of Second Church
- Dr. Taino Palermo, an indigenous rights lawyer
- Rev. Dr. Rob Schenck, a former high-level Christian Nationalist leader
- Katherine Stewart, investigative Journalist and New York Times best-selling author
- Rev. Janna Louie, helping to lead the ‘Christians Against Christian Nationalism’ movement
- Closing by Rev. Corey J. Sanderson of Second Church
