Newton Conservators: Intergenerational Guided Walk in Edmands Park, Oct. 4

The Newton Conservators will host an intergenerational guided walk on Saturday, October 4, from 10AM to 12 noon, in Edmands Park. Follow Linnea Dunn Rappaport, a rising sophomore at Newton North High School and a member of the Newton Enviro-Sci Program, and Barbara Bates, retired Mass Audubon teacher/naturalist and a Newton Conservators director, as they explore the habitats of this woodland park. Trails are generally wide and flat with a few steep, narrow, and stony portions. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to October 11, from 10AM to 12 noon.

For questions concerning the walk, contact Barbara Bates at [email protected].

Registration is required to participate and receive instructions on where to meet. The walk is limited to 30 people.

This guided walk is part of the Newton Conservators Fall Walk Series. To learn more about the Newton Conservators and its free walks, webinars, invasive pulls, and other events, visit https://newtonconservators.org.
