The Newton Conservators will host a tour of Cold Spring Park with Friends of Cold Spring Park
founder and president Alan Nogee on Saturday, September 20, from 10AM to 12 noon, to learn
about its natural wonders, threats, and intriguing history. Alan will also discuss what makes a
natural plant community invaluable for wildlife, climate mitigation, and climate resilience.
Participants should meet at the kiosk beyond the parking area at the far-left end of the Beacon
Street entrance. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to September 21, from 10AM to
12 noon.
For questions concerning the walk, contact Alan Nogee at 617-821-1265 or
[email protected].
Registration is required and limited to 30 people.
