FriendshipWorks: Making Music, Making Connections, Sept. 30

In recognition of International Day of Older Persons, International Day of Music and Good Neighbor Day, FriendshipWorks and Goddard House Community Initiatives will present Making Music, Making Connections on Tuesday, September 30, 5:30PM-7:30PM at the Newton Free Library’s Druker Auditorium (330 Homer Street).

The evening will highlight FriendshipWorks’ MusicWorks program, which uses the healing power of music to foster connection and reduce isolation among older adults. (See FriendshipWorks MusicWorks video.)

Admission is free and open to the public. Register here.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided, with live, interactive performances from local professional musicians.
