Newton Police Department is now accepting applications for the upcoming Community Police Academy, running on Wednesday evenings, October 1 – November 19, 6PM-8:30 PM. The Community Police Academy offers residents an inside look at local law enforcement through hands-on experiences and interactive sessions. Participants will meet officers, tour the station, explore various bureaus, and engage in training simulations, CPR/First Aid and ride-alongs. This program strengthens community relations and promotes a deeper understanding of police work.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a current resident or business owner in Newton.
