Newton Food Pantry: Newton’s Community Table, Oct 23

The Newton Food Pantry invites all to Newton’s Community Table — an annual celebration of unity, generosity and shared purpose on Thursday, October 23, 6PM-9PM on the Mt. Ida College campus (100 Carlson Avenue, Newton).

Tickets can be purchased online.

This year’s event will feature a delicious spread of food, tasty drinks, live music, a silent auction packed with amazing offerings, and a program you won’t want to miss!

The Newton Food Pantry will be honoring three amazing supporters of their work and commitment, which reflects the spirit of Newton — neighbors stepping up for neighbors:

  • City of Newton/Mayor Ruthanne Fuller for hosting the food pantry in City Hall over the last 8 years;
  • Law firm Goulston & Storrs for its steadfast support of the new pantry construction project; and
  • Longtime volunteer Marilyn Crone, whose leadership of the Kids’ Bags program has brought nourishment and joy to countless families.

The demand for food assistance is on the rise, and your attendance at Newton’s Community Table will help the Newton Food Pantry meet this critical moment. Every ticket purchased helps the Newton Food Pantry provide essential hunger-relief services to Newton residents in need.

For more information about the event, or to sign on as an event sponsor or silent auction item contributor, please email Executive Director Jeff Lemberg at [email protected].
