City Council

City Council is not scheduled to meet this week.

Land Use will meet on Tuesday regarding requests to:

  • Waive three parking stalls at 776 Beacon Street
  • Raze the existing single-family dwelling and construct four single-family attached dwellings in two buildings and construct eight garage stalls in the basement level of Building 1 at 11 Parsons Street.
  • Construct a rear addition to the existing dwelling resulting in three attached, single-family dwellings at 16-20 Winter Street
  • Raze the existing dwelling and construct three single-family attached dwellings in one building at 790 Watertown Street

Public Facilities will meet on Wednesday regarding:

  • Grant of location request for Cingular Wireless to install equipment at Delmore Road, Walnut Street, Boylston Street, and Hammond Street
  • Changing the names of 18 “roadways” in Oak Hill Park to honor fallen veterans by naming all roads, paths and roadways in their memory
  • Update on Planning and Construction of Bullough’s Pond Dam, including rehabilitation project and preferred safety design
  • Possible amendment to waive the new sidewalk creation requirement in cases of 50% renovation, with discussion of comparison of the costs and benefits for residents (cost of $25,000 to $50,000 for sidewalk installation), and other means to reduce resident cost including funding the betterment program
  • Appropriating $2,453,904 for Capital Improvement Plan inflow and infiltration projects

Schools

School Committee will meet virtually on Wednesday for a 30-minute special meeting to “Approve PTO’s.”
