Shakespeare in the Playground—The World’s a Stage Players present “Henry IV, Part I”, July 30

On Wednesday, July 30, 6PM-9PM, the Hyde Community Center (90 Lincoln Street) will present The World’s a Stage Players (the resident Shakespeare troupe of the Concord Players) production fo Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Part I, the first of Shakespeare’s two plays centering on the reign of Henry IV. It is a story of power, honor and rebellion, depicting the King’s military battles, political conflicts with a rebellious faction of nobles, and the escapades of his son, who frequents the taverns in the company of disreputable characters.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, and pack a picnic or support local Highlands restaurants. Rain location: Hyde Gym. See the summer schedule of events or a printable version.
