The Newton Cemetery & Arboretum will host a summertime tour through the winding roads of its grounds, on August 17 starting at 10AM. Led by the Arboretum’s Arborist Julie Clements, the tour will take you along the ponds and streams of the Cemetery showcasing perennial gardens. Come to learn about the Arboretum’s ecological diversity from shade gardens, and wetland areas, to pollinators. All ages encouraged to attend.
The tour will take place rain or shine. Bring comfortable walking shoes, water, and plenty of questions. Meet in the Chapel Parking lot (791 Walnut Street). Parking is available along cemetery roads or in the Chapel parking lot.
