The first ever New England Ukulele Festival will commence, featuring lively performances from popular ukulele groups from across the region, a workshop and performance by award-winning ukulele virtuoso Victoria Vox, vendors, artisans, raffles, food for purchase and a cash bar, and an online auction.
Proceeds will benefit the Ukulele Kids Club (501c3) – a nonprofit that provides ukulele-based music therapy to kids in children’s hospitals here in MA and across the country.
It will take place on Sunday, May 4, 12-5PM at the American Legion Post 440 (295 California Street, Nonantum). Admission is free, and donations are welcomed.
