The Newton Piano Summit returns with free performances on March 15 and 16, 3PM-5PM, at Second Church (60 Highland Street, West Newton).
- March 15, 3 PM – David Schulenberg – Internationally renowned Baroque and Classical artist known for his historically informed performances of works by J.S. Bach and C.P.E. Bach. A respected scholar and performer, he brings an unmatched depth of knowledge and musicality to the stage.
- March 15, 4 PM – Monica Jakuc Leverett – Since her critically acclaimed New York debut at Alice Tully Hall in 1980, she has performed on three continents as a solo and chamber musician playing both early and modern pianos. Special guest Baritone Jacob Cooper.

- March 16, 3 PM – Paul Bloom – A prodigiously creative pianist from NYC, Paul seamlessly blends jazz, classical, and contemporary influences. With a background in neuroscience and a deep love for improvisation, his performances offer a unique fusion of intellect and artistry.
March 16, 4 PM – George Russell Jr. – Our first three-time headliner, George is a master of gospel-infused jazz piano. Chair of the Harmony Department at Berklee College of Music, he brings his latest project, Reimagined, a fresh take on classic spirituals and hymns.
