Public Safety and Transportation will meet virtually (Zoom link) on Wednesday, February 19 at 7PM. The agenda includes the following:
- Request for a discussion and possible amendment to the Traffic Council regulations to allow for an appeal on Field Trials.
- Request for a discussion regarding of the proposed temporary carving out of 51 parking spaces in the Langley Parking Lot to install a trial public plaza. Discussion to include planning for possible long term community space; coordination of the plan with local businesses on customer sales; and the appropriateness of using ARPA funding for a short-term, experimental purpose.
Public Facilities will meet in person (Room 204) and virtually (Zoom link) on Wednesday, February 19 at 7PM. The agenda includes the following:
- Recommendation to appropriate $1,471,000 plus $204,000 funds for the Jackson Homestead and Museum for the rehabilitation of the basement of the Jackson Homestead and Museum.
- Request for a discussion with the Public Facilities Committee regarding the proposed five-year contract for curbside collection and recycling processing commencing on July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2030.
- Request for a discussion with Public Works on stormwater mitigation to improve flooding.
- Request for a discussion and possible ordinance amendment regarding how water movement between properties is assessed, monitored, and tracked.
