The Woman’s Club of Newton Highlands (72 Columbus Street, Newton Highlands) will host these events:
- December 4 at 1PM: Tina Grady, a Newton South alum, will perform Broadway hits and Christmas songs.
- December 7, 9AM-Noon: Breakfast with Santa and Food Drive. Healthy Breakfast offered, parents may photograph children with Santa, handknits available for sale. All are welcome! Also collecting nonperishable foods, toilet articles, baby necessities and cleaning supplies for the Newton Food Pantry.
- December 18 at 1PM: “Tea Tasting with Ellen” Come learn about teas from various parts of the world, how they’re grown and differ in flavor.
For people who need more space to host a holiday party, or who are too busy with work ad other chores to prepare home for events, the Woman’s Club of Newton Highlands Workshop (72 Columbus Street, Newton Highlands) is available for rent a reasonable rates. Rental applications are now being accepted. All are welcome to apply. It’s not limited to residents of Newton Highlands.
