Music director Philip Sanborn will lead the Bay Colony Brass in Space and Beyond, a wide-ranging concert including Richard Strauss’ Fanfare from Also Sprach Zarathustra, Hoagy Carmichael’s Stardust, and selections from Gustav Holst’s monumental work, The Planets.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 2, 7:30PM at the Second Church In Newton United Church of Christ (60 Highland Street, West Newton). Admission is free. Handicapped access is available immediately uphill from the sanctuary via the side driveway or drive-up entrance through the main doors to the sanctuary.
