Newton Conservators: The Secrets of Bare Pond, Nov. 2

Newton Conservators is hosting The Secrets of Bare Pond as part of the Newton Conservators Fall Walk Series. Participants will explore with Richard Primack this remarkable vernal pond that is home to spotted salamanders and other amphibians. It has many other unusual and surprising features of rocks, hydrology, topography, and trees. It will take place on Saturday, November 2, 1:40-3:30PM and will start at the Elgin Street Entrance to the Webster Conservation Area (120-160 Elgin Street, Newton Centre). The walk will be rescheduled to November 9 in case of steady rain. To RSVP, email Richard Primack at primack@bu.edu.
