Newton Community Pride (NCP) and Bike Newton will host a special two-hour, twelve-mile bicycle ride — Tour de #PictureUsNewton — on Sunday, September 8, starting at 3PM at the Newton Free Library (330 Homer Street). No registration is required.
#PictureUsNewton is a current NCP public art initiative displaying artfully designed “selfie stations” all around the City. NCP invites everyone to view the works, snap a selfie, and upload it to the online community photo album filled with faces of our diverse and welcoming city.
The ride will consist of stops at six of these art exhibits and will end at 5PM at the TRIO Courtyard in Newtonville in time to see one of NCP’s free and accessible Fall Village Concerts featuring Trilogy, led by Tal Shalom-Kobi of West Newton.
This is a family-friendly ride, and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Bike helmets are required. Visit bikenewton.org for any last-minute changes.
