The music program at the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton is offering a music reading class in August. Beginners and more experienced singers are welcome. The course is free. There are two sessions — come to one or both, your choice. The two classes will be 7PM-9PM on Thursdays, August 22 and August 29. We’ll work on music-reading, perhaps on harmonizing, and, depending on who’s there, we may have a session on hymn-singing. Classes will take place in the FUUSN chapel (1326 Washington Street, West Newton).
