The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) and Sacred Heart and Our Lady’s Collaborative (SHOL Newton) are hosting Friends of the Poor Walk, a 1.5-mile walk to raise funds to assist the Newton community with food, clothing, and housing-related requests. The walk will take place on Sunday, September 29, with day-of registration and a silent auction at 12:30PM, and the walk starting at 1PM at Sacred Heart Parish (1321 Centre Street, Newton Centre).
