The American Red Cross is holding blood drives in Newton — for both blood and Power-Red donations. You must schedule an appointment before donating. You can schedule it through the website or by calling 800-RED-CROS (800-733-2767).
They will occur at the following times and places:
- Wednesday, October 9, 10AM-3PM at the American Legion Nonantum Post 440 (295 California St, Nonantum).
- Wednesday, October 16, 1-6PM at the Scandinavian Cultural Center (206 Waltham Street, West Newton).
- Wednesday, October 23, 2-7PM at the American Legion Nonantum Post 440 (295 California St, Nonantum).
