Newton Commonwealth Foundation Board, which operates the municipal golf course, will meet in person (Room 204) on Tuesday, July 30 from 10AM to 12PM. The agenda includes the following:

Newton Free Library Board of Trustees Finance Committee will meet virtually (Zoom link) on Tuesday, July 30 at 10AM. The agenda includes the following:

  • Call to order
  • Approve minutes from the June 21 Finance Committee meeting
  • FY24 Financial Investment/Review
  • FY25 priorities
  • Adjournment

Chestnut Hill Historic District Commission will meet virtually (Zoom link) on Wednesday, July 31 at 7PM. The agenda includes the following:

  • Certificate of Appropriateness to replace gutters, fascia, and soffit at 111 Suffolk Road
  • Certificate of Appropriateness to paint siding, trim, and shutters; install shutter moldings and hardware; change previously approved windows in addition, and change garage doors at 17 Old England Road
  • Certificate of Appropriateness to install a generator at 100 Old England Road
  • Certificate of Appropriateness to replace side porch windows at 14 Meigh Road
  • Final Project Approval for hardscaping and site elements, including the shed, generator, pool, and pool terrace at 152 Suffolk Road
