Haiku Newton, a project sponsored by Newton Community Pride (NCP), is accepting poetry for its spring 2024 public art initiative — bringing poems on lawn-style signs to various locations throughout Newton. Go to poetrynewton.com for more information and to submit your work by March 20.
Now in its third year, Haiku Newton will select up to 24 poems to be featured on yard signs with spring-themed background images. The signs will be placed throughout Newton during April (National Poetry Month), May, and June. The themes this year are Regeneration, Renewal, and Revisioning.
