The Newton Department of Public Works posted that yard-waste collection will continue through January 26 and said, “If you currently have yard waste out at the curb we ask for your continued patience, we will get to it pending weather. Do not put out any additional yard waste. After January 26, residents can drop off yard waste (and Christmas trees) at the [Resource Recovery Center] on Rumford Ave.”
