Last week, Superintendent David Fleishman informed the school community that he will be stepping down as Superintendent and leaving the Newton Public School system to become the President/Chief Executive Officer of JVS Boston, one of the largest providers of adult education and workforce development services in New England. Fleishman has served as Superintendent of Schools for the past 12 years. His letter to the school community can be found here.
