American Legion Post 440 (295 California Street, Nonantum) will observe Veterans Day on Saturday, November 11 with these events:
- 11AM: Ceremony hosted by the City of Newton honoring the U.S. Military
- 11:45AM: Flag Retirement Ceremony. Family and friends of Veterans are invited to retire a flag in their veteran’s name.
- 8PM: Saturday Night Live at The Legion, featuring an All Veterans Band, Blue Hotel. All Veterans enter free. Suggested donation $10. Free pizza, cash bar, 50/50 raffle. Wear red, white, and blue!
